Usage is unlimited during the time period you purchase. Time starts at first login. You may use the same login on up to 5 devices. Bandwidth is 3.5Mbps/dn and 512Kbps/up. Your login is valid at any of the hotspot locations.
Instructions:
- Search for available wireless networks on your WIFI enabled device.
- Look for “Peoples Internet Hotspot” or “Peoples Internet Hotspot East, West, 1,2,3 or 4”.
- Choose the network ID with the strongest signal. (If your signal is weak, you can purchase a WIFI HIGH GAIN USB adapter or a WIFI repeater or Range Extender from our main office at 208 N Broadway in LaCygne.) Once connected to a network, you should see a splash page with information about the hotspot and our logo at the top. If not just open a web browser and try to get to any website, you should then see the splash page.
- Feel free to try a 20 minute trial by clicking the 20 minute trial link, to test the service. If you are satisfied with the trial then…
- If you are a new user, create a new account and purchase time through the link on the splash page. (you will see a link to create a new account)
- Create your account and choose your username and password (make sure you remember the username and password, it is CASE SENSITIVE) Choose the package you wish to purchase in the drop down menu on the signup page. It will redirect you to Paypal with an invoice.
- Make your payment through Paypal. If you do not have a PayPal account, either create one, or select the option on Paypal to pay with a credit card without a Paypal account.
- Wait 2 minutes, then click “return to Peoples Telecommunications LLC” or type 10.0.0.1 into your browser. You will now be back at the original splash page.
- Login to the hotspot on the splash page with the username and password you created in step 6. Remember your username and password is CASE SENSITIVE.
- Enjoy your Internet access.

The hotspots can be affected by weather and other variables that may be out of the control of Peoples Services LLC. We reserve the right to edit pricing or functionality at any time. We cannot guarantee throughput or signal strength, although if you are having issues please let us know and we will try to resolve the issue.
